In South Canterbury, Air New Zealand operates out of the Richard Pearse Airport, also known as Timaru Airport. It is the main airport in South Canterbury, located 15 minutes by car from the city centre, and includes a rental car desk that opens to meet arriving flights.
Air New Zealand offers non-stop domestic flights to Timaru from Wellington, with connecting flights from most other regional centres.
