Welcome to Northpark Motel – accommodation in Timaru

Derrick and Lisa welcome you to our motel. The Northpark Motel opened in April 2012 with the new wing opening in December 2018.  We have 28 rooms in the Northpark complex, situated on the Cnr Hilton Highway and Washdyke Flat Road, Timaru.The motel is above Ascot Sportshouse & Eatery which is also owned and operated by resident hosts Derrick and Lisa.  There is ample parking on site, and with the location being on the northern edge of Timaru it is very convenient for corporate travellers and families alike.

The Northpark Motel has 27 studio units with their own ensuites, including 14 units completed in 2018 and which have a supporting communal kitchen. All units are serviced daily. There is also a 2-bedroom apartment which is very suitable for family and sports groups. We are the closest motel to the airport, Phar Lap racecourse, Levels International Raceway, 5-minute driving distance to the centre city shopping, Caroline Bay, Aigantighe Art Gallery and the Aquatic Centre.

There is a choice of 13 ensuited studio units, with interconnecting rooms for families, as well as a large studio family room for a larger group and a further 14 superior studios. There is also a 2-bedroom family unit with full kitchen facilities, which sleeps 7. There is unlimited free WiFi available on site, together with 50+ SKY TV channels for your viewing pleasure
