Get up close and personal with tame farm-yard animals around the region. Visit Waimate’s wallabies as you walk amongst, touch, feed and cuddle these furry animals – the only one of its kind in New Zealand.

Caroline Bay is a must, with heaps of free stuff including the totally epic new CPlay kids playground open all day, every day. With one of the safest beaches on the East Coast of New Zealand and large areas of recreational space, South Canterbury is a great place to take the kids. Come and spend some family time with us.
