In New Zealand, Holiday Parks are also known as motor camps or camping grounds. Most offer several cost options, from powered or unpowered sites for your tent, van or motorhome, to self-contained motel units, cabins, tourist flats, bunk rooms or group lodges. All provide communal kitchens, toilets, showers and laundries. Other facilities may include an on-site shop, barbecue facilities, adventure playgrounds, swimming or toddler pools, trampoline, beach access, bike or kayak hire.

For backpackers on a budget, there are plenty of hostel and backpacker accommodation options. Enjoy the best of both worlds while you explore our beautiful landscapes and meet like-minded travellers along the way.
