Cardiac Kids Club

Cardiac Kids Mid and South Canterbury is a local not-for-profit Club. Some of us live with cardiac conditions, while others are Parents, Grandparents or Caregivers of a child or a spouse of an adult.

Our mission is to support and enhance the wellbeing of children, teens, adults and their whanau impacted by cardiac health issues. Community engagement is key, we are supported by businesses, organisations and individuals whose collective effort strengthens us those we support. Bonding through shared experience builds a strong sense of camaraderie and friendship.

Cardiac Kids holds various events, activities and workshops. One notable example of community engagement and collaboration is our free mental health and well-being workshop, benefiting those directly impacted by cardiac conditions as well as a valuable resource for the wider community, fostering understanding and empathy.

All funds raised are retained within the local community to support families in Mid and South Canterbury, ensuring that resources are directly allocated to meet the needs of those they serve.
