SPELD NZ Introduction to Specific Learning Disabilities

Are you a teacher or teacher aide working with a child who is bright but not achieving?
Are you working with a child who is not progressing as you would expect?
Are you a parent struggling to support a child or adult with dyslexia?
SPELD NZ’S two-day introductory course is for you!
This training is suitable for anyone with limited or no knowledge about dyslexia/SLD.

SPELD NZ is a not-for-profit organisation that specialises in assisting people with dyslexia and other specific learning disabilities. For more than 50 years, we’ve helped many thousands of New Zealand children and adults nationwide. We offer training and professional development for assessors, teachers, special educational needs coordinators (SENCO), Learning Support Coordinators, teacher aides, families, and caregivers.

We are delivering our Introduction to Specific Learning Disabilities course in central Timaru on Thursday the 31st of October and Friday the 1st of November (9am to 4pm).
