Eat Cafe & Bar

Located on Fairlie’s main street, Eat Café & Bar provides customers with a wide range of healthy delicatessen-style food made on site, with many gluten-free choices. The moment you walk in you realise this place is special! Relax and unwind while enjoying the welcoming atmosphere – alfresco in summer or snuggle up by the fire during colder weather.

Sited in a historic building over 100 years old, refitted to accommodate the restaurant and bar, including children’s play area and retail corner, an upper floor mezzanine area with mountain views, and cafe seating outside under the long established cherry tree.

Eat is also the most convenient eatery to take a travel break, located in the heart of Fairlie on the intersection of SH 79 (the inland tourism route from Geraldine and Christchurch) and SH 8 (from Timaru and south)
