Matai Nurseries (2019) Limited specialises in New Zealand native plants for landscaping, re-vegetation and amenity purposes.

We grow from ground covers to large trees including some rare plants in a range of different grades and at competitive prices.

Established for 1987.

We propagate NZ natives from our stock plants and collect seeds from Christchurch to Invercargill to the Mackenzie Country.

South Canterbury loves Gardens. When you are ready to add to your property, pop on down to the friendly, helpful team for a huge variety of NZ natives.

Customers purchase natives for housewarming gifts, weddings, and memorial, often coming for plant therapy or good design advise.
