The Waimate Kindergarten Association have three Kindergartens under its umbrella. John Street Kindergarten located in the heart of Waimate open five days a week 8.45 - 2.45pm. Esk Valley Kindergarten, located inland from St Andrews open four days a week 8.45 - 2.45pm. And the Mobile Kindergarten located at four different sites over the period of a week - Hakataramea, Waituna, Glenavy and Waihao Downs, running three to four hour sessions.
