Aoraki Moana Festival 2025. Formerly the Aoraki Pasifika Festival, now flowing wider, deeper, and stronger.
Born from proud Pasifika roots, the Aoraki Moana Festival returns as a vibrant celebration of culture, connection, and community. This is where our stories rise, our voices unite, and our people stand tall.
Date: Saturday 22nd November
Time: 1:00–3:00pm
Location: Timaru South School
Entry: Free | All welcome | Proudly Pasifika-led
Live Pasifika & Māori performances
Island-inspired kai and local flavours
Family-friendly vibes from start to finish
This festival began as the Aoraki Pasifika Festival, a first-of-its-kind platform built by our own.
Today, it honours that legacy while embracing the wider waters welcoming ALL who call this place home.
Want to perform?
We’re calling out to all Pasifika and kapa haka groups, as well as school and community groups who want to bring their energy, pride, and rhythm to the stage.
Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, we’d love to have you.
Get in touch at: aorakipasifika@gmail.com
Come celebrate the strength of our collective story.
This isn’t just a festival, it’s a movement.
