Downtown Timaru History Walk

Join a Museum staff member for a 90-minute+ guided tour of downtown Timaru. Discover more of the past history of the area, learn about the great fire that destroyed shops in 1868 and spot remaining heritage buildings from the 19th century.

All participants receive an illustrated tour booklet. Tour cost is $10 per person, with proceeds going to the SC Museum Development Trust which supports the new museum development. Email museum@timdc.govt.nz to book your place and for payment details.
