As the stars of Matariki rise once again, we invite our community to join us for a special Dawn Hautapu Ceremony at Te Aitarakihi Marae-ā-Iwi.
Together we will gather to honour those who have passed, acknowledge the present, and set our intentions for the year ahead. Following our Hautapu, we will hold a special hanging of photographs in the wharenui before sharing a hākari together.
Wednesday July 8th, 6:00am, Te Aitarakihi Marae-ā-Iwi, 50 Bridge Road, Timaru
Our hākari menu will include boil up, savoury mince, porridge, toast and cereals. If you would like to contribute a food koha, anything that complements the breakfast menu would be greatly appreciated.
