Mark your calendars! Celebrate Matariki with an extra special milestone at the Pleasant Point Museum and Railway on Sunday, 12th of July, 2026.
Not only are we running our fantastic diesel locomotive Tr880, but this day marks its official unveiling! We are honoured to announce that local MP James Meager will be joining us for the celebrations and will be cutting the ribbon to officially welcome Tr880 into our service.
Bring the whole family along to witness a piece of local history and enjoy a wonderful winter day out on the rails.

– Gates Open & Running Times: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
