Join us for the inaugural Twizel Arts Festival – a vibrant weekend celebrating creativity in the heart of the Mackenzie.

Across three days, Twizel will come alive with workshops, performances, exhibitions, markets and interactive experiences that showcase the incredible talent of our community and visiting artists.

Whether you’re a passionate artist, an enthusiastic beginner, or simply looking for a fantastic weekend out, there’s something for everyone.

Saturday night is the festival’s feature event.

Enjoy an inspiring evening featuring performances from Lakes Ballet, Highland Dancers, and our community Wearable Arts Show, alongside local artwork displayed throughout the venue.

Relax with food vendors and a licensed bar while celebrating the creativity that makes our community unique.

Inspired by our braided rivers and the native birds that return to them each year, our community Wearable Arts Show celebrates creativity, conservation and connection to place.

Tickets are available for workshops and the Community Showcase Evening.

Many festival activities are free to enjoy, including the art exhibition, craft market and self-guided street art trail.
