We are seeking expressions of interest from local businesses and tertiary providers to participate in the South Canterbury Year 11 Pathways Expo. This will be held on Wednesday 20th May from 8am – 3pm at the Southern Trust Events Centre.

This annual event connects approximately 800 Year 11 students from across the South Canterbury region with local employers to learn about industries, tertiary courses, career pathways, and opportunities available in our community and beyond.

Students rotate between businesses in a speed networking format, allowing them to hear from a wide range of industries during their session.

The event has run annually since 2018 and has been recognised by the Ministry of Education as an example of Good Careers Practice.

The event is free to attend and Morning Tea, Lunch and Coffee will be provided.

We greatly value the support of our local business community in helping inspire and inform the future workforce of South Canterbury.
