Based on the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks film Shrek and the beloved book by William Steig, this larger-than-life stage production brings everyone’s favorite ogre to life in a dazzling musical spectacle.
Join Shrek, a grumpy but lovable ogre, whose peaceful swamp is suddenly invaded by fairy-tale misfits. - 6.00am – Dawn Service
- Timaru War Memorial Cenotaph, Queen Street, Timaru. Parade falls in at 5.50am.
- 7.00am – Cemetery Service
- Timaru Cemetary, Domain Avenue, Timaru
- 7.15am – Crematorium Service
- 410 Beaconsfield Road, Timaru
- 9.55am – Civic Service
- Caroline Bay Soundshell. Parade falls in at 9.45am and marches past the Field of Remembrance.
Our Civic Service includes a haka, flyover, speeches, poems, music, wreath laying and blank gun firing.
All returned and service people are welcome to march at the Dawn and Civic Service Parades.
